What's a "horse sitter"?
As horse owners, it is important to know that your equine friends are well cared for, even when you can’t be there to do it yourself. It might be a holiday, a work trip, a short period of illness…. whatever takes you away from your horses, they still need to be fed and watered.
- “Three days working in England… who will muck out the horses? My other half doesn’t know a headcollar from a leadrope!”
- “A week’s holiday in sunny Tenerife… how will I find time, amongst the packing and work commitments, to drive a two hours round trip to take may horses to my brother’s farm for the week?”
- “I didn’t expect to find myself laid up with a broken leg… how will the ponies get fed? I’m not able to drive to the field!”
If only there was a “horse sitter” locally who could come to my yard and take care of my horses while I am away.
Someone I can trust…
Someone who loves horses as much as I do…
Someone who won’t cost a fortune but the money is worth it for peace of mind….
